Facing our own mortality Forum
Chestnut Street Presbyterian Church and the Estate of Dr. Carol E.Malloy are hosting a forum on March 11, 2017 from 10am-2pm complete with resources, and conversations to prepare for death. The forum is in memory of the late, Dr. Carol E. Malloy and will be hosted at the Hilton-Riverside in downtown Wilmington. To RSVP email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 910- 408-2246. In Memory of Dr. Carol E. Malloy
Dr. Carol Malloy was member of Chestnut Street Presbyterian Church for 5. She moved to Wilmington with her husband, Dr. William Malloy in 2009. Dr. Carol Malloy supported Presbyterian Women and Vacation Bible School. At her previous church(Covenant Presbyterian), she was part of the choir, worship chair, and in charge of the praise dance team. As a retiree in Wilmington she was an active member in the Links, INC and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
As a lifelong educator, her passion for teaching and mathematics garnered her many accolades and high praise from both students and colleagues. A middle school mathematics teacher turned UNC School of Education Professor she was beloved my many. One of her numerous awards was the University's Lifetime Achievement awards for Mentoring.
When she wasn't serving her church, her community organizations, or shaping the minds of the future, she loved passionately her sisters, her friends, her son, and her husband of 50 years.
